NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES:

  • Crossroads for Women: Provides comprehensive, integrated services to support women working to break the cycle of homelessness and incarceration and achieve healthy, stable, and self-sufficient lives in the community for themselves and their children.

  • Wings for Life International: Offers an educational weekly program that changes the lives of children of prisoners, at-risk youth, prisoners returning home (returning citizens), & strengthens the family unit. Qualified professionals provide a Pre-K & Tutoring program for school-age children after dinner. This is a faith-based organization.

  • NM Volunteer Connection: Provides a variety of volunteer opportunities with various organizations in New Mexico. You can conduct a detailed search based on what you’re interested in.
