Pro/Con Debates

Hosting a debate session in class is a great way to help students to engage with the material and learn how to formulate eloquent and cohesive arguments. You can assign students to argue a particular side of the argument or allow them to pick their side. Working with your class to set ground rules prior to the debate will facilitate respectful and academic discussion.
